In September, 2007, GE ran a media summit in Berlin on European healthcare.  Of those attending the meeting, the vast majority were from various media outlets throughout Europe, but there were also a handful of other scientists.  I was one of the speakers -- I was asked to talk about the anticipated rise and fall of human longevity in the 21st century.  The talk I gave included some discussion of our paper published in the New England Journal of Medicine on the rise of childhood obesity, and further discussion of the Longevity Dividend.  When the talk was over, I was asked to conduct a series of interviews about both issues.  That is what you will see here, although I will admit that I was extremely tired after a long day.  I was responding to questions posed by the meeting organizers.
